Chester on fashion: "I'm the only member of this band who needs a carrying kit cargo case for my wardrobe. I've got shoes that go with every outfit, my underwear has to match my outfits, my socks have to match my shoes and my pants-everything is a very big deal to me."

Chester's earliest childhood memory: "Apparently it was when I was only 18 months old - which is very unusual I know - and it was the lights from the casinos as we drove through Las Vegas. I remember telling a relative that I saw the cowboy and my parents were like 'How can you possibly remember that - you were a baby?' I've been back to Las Vegas since but I've never been back to the same strip."

Chester on high school: "I was a geek who thought I was cool. I didn't hang out with a particular clique, but with different people from different cliques. I was a total nerd, trying to fit in. Luckily, I found music and that was my niche. That sorta took me out of my geekdom.
I was never invited to parties as a teenager - I turned up with the popular people. That's where the lyrics to 'Guilty By Association' came from."

Chester on cooking: "I like to cook. That's why my wife stays married to me. I can make a steak with salt and pepper and it will be the best steak you've ever had in your life. I think the special ingredient is love."

If he could repeal one law it'd be the legalization of marijuana

Chester has said if he wasn't a musician right now he'd be an average American doing average American things
